We are focused on Educational, Holistic Healing, General Enlightenment and Making the World a Better, More Fruitful and Happy Place.   Projects related to Education and Holistic Healing incorporate even novel yet safe and useful techniques and tools supported by modern psychology.  There is a lot of what I call underlying despair and depression amongst our culture in generally, but gay men in particular.  Everyone knows how many of us are treated in High School, but also in life.  I have known educated, exceptional men of exceeding talent, particularly in an older generation or those that have spent time in cultures or communities that are not accepting of our talents.  We have always brought new ideas, art and music, been healers and priest and shamans helping the "tribe of humanity."   Much like the Jewish Community, we have enriched the human experience and done so on a global level for millenia.  We are in every country.  While the concept of "Gay" is relatively new coming out of World War II America where millions of men (and women) mobilized in the major coastal cities-- There became and awareness that we were not alone.  The Reactionary, Fear Mongering, Career Wrecking McCarthyism and the Red Scares of the early 1950's, when traditional families and suburban living was idealized, created the Modern Gay Political Movement starting with the Mattachine Society founded in Santa Monica and then spreading across the country.   There were over 2000 subscribers of their news letter in this very conservative era in Los Angeles alone by 1951.  Advancements and studies in psychology in the 1950s lead to Homosexuality being reclassified technically at least by the American Psychological Association from a pathology.  Those that presented the evidence gathered by some of the brightest minds and voted on during the Associations 1971 convention wore Gorilla Masks as they presented and called for a membership vote.  If the motion to reclassify homosexual had failed they feared their careers could be destroyed.  AIDS of course just over a decade later in the early 1980s added to another layer of disappointment, fear, heartache and despair.  So, we look to enliven the lives of everyone, make people smile and help our gay sons prosper and bloom in the greater world.  Thank you-- Specific programs are going developed and a Global Advisory Board in being created.
